Privacy Notice

Your data, handled plainly.

Last updated: June 2026

This notice explains what personal data Settldwell collects when you join our early-access waitlist, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). This is a privacy notice only — it is not our terms of service.

01 Who we are

Settldwell is an accounts-receivable follow-up service. For the purpose of the DPDP Act, the Data Fiduciary is:

Legal entity[Legal company name]
CIN[CIN]
Registered office[Registered office address, India]
Grievance contact[grievance email]

02 What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect only:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your company name

If you choose to, you may also tell us roughly how much is stuck in your receivables. That field is optional and you can leave it blank.

03 Why we collect it

We use your data for one purpose only: to contact you about Settldwell early access and related product updates. We do not sell your data, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it for anything else.

04 Legal basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you join the waitlist. You are free to give or withhold that consent, and free to withdraw it later.

05 How long we keep it

We keep your data only until Settldwell launches or until you withdraw your consent — whichever comes first. After that, we delete it.

06 How we protect it

We apply reasonable security safeguards to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. Access is limited to the people who need it to contact you about early access.

07 Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct data that is wrong or out of date
  • Erase your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Raise a grievance about how we handle your data

To exercise any of these, simply email our grievance contact at [grievance email] and tell us what you'd like to do. We will respond within a reasonable time.

08 Withdrawing consent

Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. Email [grievance email] with the word "Withdraw" and we'll remove you from the waitlist and delete your data.

09 Governing law

This notice and our handling of your personal data are governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
